Shannon has been driven by an innate appreciation of material culture from an early age and has distinct memories of regularly organizing trash from the woods behind her childhood home into "museum exhibits". Luckily her interest in trash evolved over time and became a passion for art, design, and antiques that eventually led her to the modern design department at a national auction house. There, she learned about the important role that art and design plays in our everyday lives (not just in museum exhibition halls). As a member of the TurningArt team, she is excited to help connect new people and spaces with new art.
