In 2025, TurningArt supported Robinson+Cole's Boston office relocation with a fully reimagined collection designed to elevate the new space and highlight local artists and regional scenes. With offices across the country, the Boston program creates a strong sense of place through larger-scale works and thoughtfully framed pieces selected to complement the firm's new environment.  From Ellena Sakai, the Art Advisor: "Curating the collection for Robinson+Cole’s new Boston office was an exciting opportunity to blend organizational identity with local inspiration and unique architecture. It was a pleasure to continue strengthening the relationship with a loyal rotation client while collaborating on a transformative workplace relocation project that required a refreshed curatorial approach. Outfitting an entirely new office introduced new challenges, considerations, and opportunities, and required us to rethink the scale, materials, and placement of the art. Each piece was selected to complement the new furnishings, architectural finishes, and sweeping 360-degree views. We prioritized featuring local artists and Boston-inspired imagery throughout the collection. Many conference rooms were named after iconic Massachusetts bridges, so we intentionally incorporated artwork that paid a visual tribute to those themes, such as pieces referencing the Zakim Bridge. At the same time, with such expansive window views, we avoided pieces that directly replicated the outdoor scenery, instead choosing contemporary pieces that added contrast and visual interest to the space. Heather was a delight to collaborate with. She helped guide selections through multiple stakeholder groups, including the firm’s internal design committee. She was thoughtful about choosing pieces that would resonate with employees while maintaining an elevated, client-facing aesthetic. Despite limited access to the space during construction, Heather remained collaborative, communicative, and patient throughout the process, which was instrumental in ensuring a successful installation ahead of the office opening.” From Heather Seidel, Office Administrator at Robinson+Cole: “When updating our rotating collection and selecting the art for our new office, the team prioritized pieces that employees would enjoy and connect with while ensuring the collection reinforced a polished, professional atmosphere for clients visiting the space. The firm gravitated toward contemporary pieces, including abstract pieces and urban and nature photography, to complement the modern workplace design. Incorporating local Boston was integral in creating a strong sense of place throughout the workplace. The artwork helps reinforce our unique office identity, and it was meaningful to incorporate references to local landmarks in correlation with our conference room names. Ellena was incredibly thoughtful in guiding us through artwork selections and was always very receptive to feedback from the multiple stakeholders within our firm. Because our office was still under construction, Ellena had to rely on floor plans, furniture, and finish selections while curating the art. Despite this hurdle, she still delivered a collection that feels cohesive and intentional throughout the space. The final collection feels both sophisticated and welcoming, and it has already become an integral part of how our team and visitors experience the space.
