Embracing the Warm Hues of Arizona’s landscape

The Project

Strategically located in the heart of the Central Arts District just steps away from the greatest concentration of arts and entertainment venues in the Phoenix metropolitan area, Central Arts Plaza is a 24 story high rise boasting unobstructed 360-degree views of the Phoenix skyline. Complete with a diverse tenant roster, CBRE wanted an artwork program in their lobby that complemented the local landscape and highlighted artists from the surrounding area.

“The Central Arts Plaza is an extremely impressive building on its own so our goal was to recommend artwork that was equally as elegant. In order to blend seamlessly with the buildings ornate gold finishes, we custom made gold frames that successfully tied together the large space. The artwork collection itself features contemporary abstract paintings by various local artists, all with color palettes inspired by the warm burnt oranges, dusty beiges, and sky blues of Arizona’s landscape.

The team was so excited to showcase local Phoenix talent, and fell in love with all of the artists in the collection. It was a joy to be able to work with such a wonderful group of people in a truly beautiful space."
