The Project

As one of the hottest and fastest growing media agencies, Spark Foundry certainly lives up to its name. Starting from just 65 employees, Spark Foundry combined the nimble spirit of a start up with the soul of a powerhouse and quickly grew to a company of over 3500 people worldwide. Currently, Spark Foundry has offices in Chicago, New York City, LA, and San Francisco. They contacted TurningArt to curate their newest office space that occupies four floors of the Leo Burnett building in Chicago.

From Becca, the Art Advisor

"Working with Scott, the Chief Marketing Officer was a real pleasure because he immediately  connected with TurningArt's mission to support working artists and make art in the workplace an engaging experience through rotation, technology, and storytelling.

The artwork for Spark Foundry needed to echo the bold energy that is so present throughout the office. We communicated this mood by incorporating impactful and profound pieces of art on every floor. Using work from a diverse group of TurningArtists, I was able to source pieces that depict heat, sparks, fire, and light to simply and directly communicate Spark Foundry’s brand language.”

From Scott Hess, EVP / Chief Marketing Officer

“For the Chicago office, I was interested in art that communicated our brand and supported our company-wide rally cry: ‘Bring Your Heat.' I particularly like that while all the floors remain thematically consistent, there are stylistic nuances that differentiate each level of the office. These specific mini themes depict: fire and light, sparks and electricity, warm weather climates, and the sun.

We love the artwork that Becca provided for us and are looking forward to our next rotation. The more artists who also get to ‘bring their heat’ and contribute to our office, the better.”
