The Project
TurningArt recently partnered with architecture and interior design firm Vocon to create a custom artwork program for a top accounting firm’s New York Office.
Working across many different artistic disciplines, Vocon and TurningArt painstakingly curated original sculptural works, prints, and wall graphics that, when seen together, form one cohesive design aesthetic. The result is a space that not only reflects the client’s unique identity but also promotes productivity and collaboration.
"For this project, our goal was to elaborate on the design concept for the space by commissioning local artists to make exceptional original and site-specific artwork. Vocon is the kind of design firm that embraces art as a critical agent in enhancing experience and brand and promoting the narrative of their design. For example, Vocon's vision for the reception area was very specific and incredibly important to the client. To highlight the company's commitment to digital fitness, one of our artists (Mark Parsons) built a three-dimensional exhibit with forms and depths inspired by data relating to the client's impact across the globe. The final sculpture leveraged robotics and we were sure to integrate the company's brand colors to complete the room. We really enjoyed the collaboration with the client, and so appreciate Vocon's trust in us to facilitate the decision-making process with creativity and storytelling."
From Vocon, the Architect
The result is a space that supports the needs of the end-user and makes a visual statement. The mix of functional and beautiful spaces helps attract and retain top talent, while the art helps convey brand identity, and enhance the overall experience of the space.”
